Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our store team. You will provide exceptional customer service, handle meat preparation, and assist customers with questions and special orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include receiving and grinding meats, rotating stock, and following the company’s cleanliness and safety procedures. This hands-on role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be dependable and reliable and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with customers and a positive attitude.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service in the meat department.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload and transport products from delivery.
• Maintain product knowledge and follow Safety and Cleanliness procedures.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders; support store operations.
• Adhere to all department procedures and quality standards.
