Job summary

Hy-Vee in Iowa is seeking a Meat Clerk to provide prompt, efficient and friendly service in the Meat/Seafood Department, wrapping, trimming and stocking cases and receiving merchandise.

You will greet customers by name when possible, help locate products, rotate stock for freshness, and maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position requires physical stamina and adherence to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; food safety training preferred.
• Ability to provide prompt, friendly customer service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures in meat/seafood areas.
