Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat and Seafood Manager to lead the department, guide team members, and maintain pricing integrity and inventory control. This fast-paced role requires efficiency and a passion for excellence to drive results.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring training and certification of managers, and maintaining high-quality product levels while adhering to TFMA standards. Flexible scheduling including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant, meat cutting and/or culinary experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide accurate and timely service.
• Handle and trim meat/seafood, manage quality and rotation per TFMA standards.
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests.
• Manage ordering deadlines and reduce shrink/damage.
• Direct stock reception and rotation when replenishing product levels.
