Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat & Seafood Manager to oversee the sales and operations of the Meat & Seafood Department. You will plan cutting lists, manage ordering, receiving, storage, and staff development to deliver high-quality product and superior customer service.

The role requires leadership experience in meat cutting, strong math and scheduling skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ meat cutting experience in grocery/restaurant with leadership experience.
• Must be able to stand for long hours and lift up to 90 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure correct ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in promotions.
• Recruit, hire and promote staff in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Lead a team to deliver quality products and service.
• Act as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed.
• Create and adjust schedules to maximize productivity.
