New Seasons Market is seeking a Meat and Seafood Manager to lead department operations, production, and staffing in our Oregon store. You will manage customer service, pricing, and compliance with safety standards, while driving sales and quality for meat and seafood products.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and performance management, fostering a collaborative team environment and upholding company values in daily practice.

Competenze

• Previous customer service, food service, retail or grocery experience required.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience required.
• Knowledge of retail Meat and Seafood departments preferred; seafood/meat experience acceptable.
• Prior seafood cutting / fabrication experience required.

Mansioni

• Assesses, prioritizes and delegates tasks and production within both Meat and Seafood departments ensuring daily business needs are achieved.
• Wraps, weighs and prices meat and seafood products according to policy and regulations.
• Ensures department is stocked, rotated, faced and adheres to merchandising standards.
• Demonstrates understanding of labor, sales and margin goals and develops plans when targets are not met.
• Maintains in-stock conditions and appropriate inventory levels to support sales goals.
• Trains and educates staff to write orders and production schedules; provides ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Maintains professional vendor relationships and leverages resources to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
