Qualifications

• Should possess good interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality.
• Ability to engage customers with selling and service skills.
• Ability to interact well with others and work as part of a team.
• Experience guiding and developing staff in a retail setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset with a friendly demeanor.
• Comfort with training and supervising others.
• Familiarity with computer-based systems and basic software.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Willingness to perform multiple tasks and operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests receive polite greetings and friendly interactions from the Beef Shoppe staff.
• Achieves budgeted sales, supply/wrap, shrink and gross profits for the meat and seafood departments.
• Maintains inventory and ensures in-stock conditions through proper ordering.
• Operates department according to merchandising and operational programs.
• Maintains high quality and freshness of products and ensures in-date items.
• Upholds safety and sanitation standards in meat/seafood areas and prep zones.
• Provides guidance, training, and feedback to staff for satisfactory performance.
• Performs product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Manages department labor budget and optimizes scheduling for sales/guest service.
• Completes all other duties as assigned by management.
