Job summary

Kent’s Market in Plain City, UT seeks a Meat Cutter to breakdown, weigh, and package meat products for sale. You will safely operate meat saws, slicers, grinders, and knives while fulfilling custom orders and maintaining quality standards.

You will answer guest questions about ingredients and preparation, ensure proper stock rotation, and support the meat department with occasional fish and seafood tasks. Weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Respond to guest questions about ingredients and preparation.
• Identify, select, and merchandise high-quality meat products.
• Capable of identifying, cutting, processing, rotating and merchandising all meat types per standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow company and regulatory standards for meat handling and pricing.
• Maintain knowledge of fish, seafood, and meat products.
• Assist customers with custom orders and product queries.
• May assist with ordering and inventory of meat products as directed by Meat Manager.
• May function as Fishmonger as needed.
