Job summary

Performance Foodservice in West Salem, WI is seeking a meat/seafood cutter to join the production team. You will portion cut, slice and package meats to specifications, operate knives and band saw, and maintain GMP and safety standards.

The role runs Monday through Friday with starting shifts around 6am to 7am, no weekends, and pays from $18 per hour based on experience. On-site work with a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Meat/Seafood cutting experience or related area.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Cut various size portions of raw meat/seafood by hand with knives.
• Use band saw or slicer to portion meat/seafood and check weights.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary practices in the work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and assist teammates as needed.
