Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in the United States is hiring for a Meat Department team member. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats while helping Members find the right products.

You will weigh, package, label meats, assist the meat cutter, and ensure cases stay stocked and clean. Applicants should have prior meat/deli experience and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Experience handling fresh and/or processed meats preferred.
• Familiarity with automatic or manual wrapping machines preferred.
• Past work in a meat and/or deli department is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists with merchandising seafood, rotisserie, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Answers questions and helps Members with product recommendations.
• Maintain cleaning and safety standards in the meat department.
