Earth Fare Ocala is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to provide exceptional customer service, prep specialty merchandise like sausage and cured meats, and keep the department well stocked, clean, and correctly merchandised.

This part-time role requires basic knowledge of meat cuts and safety procedures; the ideal candidate can lift up to 50 pounds and thrive in a fast-paced store environment, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in knife handling, other cutting equipment, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional customer service while being a valuable asset of product knowledge within the department.
• Prepares specialty merchandise e.g., sausage, ready-to-cook products, and cured meats.
• Ensures the Meat and Seafood Department is well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and merchandised appropriately, including proper signage and pricing of items.
