Job summary

Earth Fare Ocala is seeking a Meat & Seafood Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and share product knowledge within the department. This entry-level role supports the team in merchandising, stocking, and providing a positive shopping experience.

You will assist with meat preparation, maintain cleanliness, signage, and pricing, and work in a fast-paced environment that may involve cold storage and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques preferred
• Demonstrated ability in knife handling and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional customer service while being a valuable asset of product knowledge within the department
• Prepares specialty merchandise e.g., sausage, ready-to-cook products, and cured meats
• Ensures the Meat and Seafood Department is well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and merchandised appropriately, including proper signage and pricing of items
