Job summary

BJs Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the Meat Department to assist Members with questions on meats, poultry, and seafood while maintaining clean, stocked displays. You will weigh, wrap, label, and rotate items, and support the meat team in upholding quality standards.

Experience with fresh/processed meats is preferred. Good attention to sanitation, safety, and teamwork will help ensure a positive member experience in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of proper meat handling and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Members by answering questions about meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label meats and seafood; assist in meat-cutting tasks.
• Inspect deliveries and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Keep cases stocked and clean; rotate stock according to expiration dates.
