Job summary

Philly's Best Steak Company in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Production Area Supervisor to oversee sub-departments including Slicing, Marination, and In/Outbound movements. You will plan, organize, and direct the production floor to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.

This role reports to the Production Manager and requires a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of supervisor experience in food manufacturing, and the ability to lift 40 lb and work in a wet, cold environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from 4-year college/university preferred.
• 4+ years of Production Supervisor experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in fast-paced food manufacturing with tight deadlines.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Must lift up to 40 lb. and walk extended periods.
• Must work in wet and cold environment (-5F to 50F).
• Overtime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Complete Daily Production Plan.
• Schedule and assign personnel to work areas.
• Establish priorities and monitor progress.
• Manage line efficiencies, KPIs, and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, QA policies, and USDA regulations.
• Coordinate raw material shipments between facilities.
• Lead and motivate production staff and resolve issues.
• Report results and downtime on shift production summaries.
