Job summary

US1150 Buckhead Meat New Jersey is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, schedule and direct the production operations to meet productivity, safety, quality, and cost goals. This role will ensure the department operates according to company policies and procedures.

You will lead both direct and indirect staff, coordinate material handling, implement lean methods (5S, Kaizen, Kanban) and ensure SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing meat processing experience.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a production team.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet goals.
• Direct and monitor the material handling area for labor efficiency.
• Manage employee performance and provide coaching and mentoring.
• Take corrective action as necessary per policy and SOPs.
• Lead staff meetings, engage employees and communicate policy changes.
• Evaluate operations and allocate daily work assignments across lines.
