Job summary

Philly's Best Steak is seeking a Production Area Supervisor to oversee sub-departments such as Slicing, Marination, and In/Outbound movements. The role plans, organizes, and directs activities on the production floor to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.

You will motivate line personnel to maximize daily output and ensure USDA compliance. Reporting to the Production Manager, this full-time exempt position requires leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication to maintain line

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field related to manufacturing or food production.
4+ years of Production Supervisor experience in food manufacturing preferred.
Experience in fast-paced meat processing environments with tight deadlines.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a big plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Ability to lift up to 40 lb. and work in wet/cold environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute daily production plans across Slicing, Marination, and In/Outbound movements.
Schedule and assign personnel to work areas; establish priorities.
Monitor progress and downtime; drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and USDA regulations.
Lead, train, and motivate production staff; manage safety incident investigations.
Track downtime, labor hours, and payroll accuracy.
Coordinate raw material shipments and equipment readiness.
Maintain sanitation, GMPs, and product quality across shifts.
