Job summary

US Foods in Lexington, NC seeks a Production Associate to prepare and pack meat products, adhering to USDA safety and sanitation standards and customer specs. You will work in a fast-paced line environment, operate packaging processes, perform visual inspections, and maintain cleanliness of the work area.

Must be able to work in refrigerated 35°F–45°F and freezer -10°F to +10°F environments. Experience in production or food-related warehousing is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Ability to operate in a refrigerated environment (35°F–45°F).
• Experience in production, warehouse, or food processing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack meat products to meet production demands.
• Follow Food Safety requirements and GMP expectations.
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet specifications.
• Assist in general cleanliness of work area.
• Work in a refrigerated and freezer environment as required.
