Job summary

US Foods in Greensburg, PA is seeking a meat processing associate to prepare and package meat products for the next processing stage. You will work in a refrigerated environment handling multiple steps and ensuring safety standards.

The role requires adherence to GMP, quality checks, and timely completion of assigned tasks. Overtime may be needed, with a focus on meeting customer specifications and maintaining cleanliness of the work area.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred with basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Experience in production, warehouse, food processing or related environments preferred.
• Overtime may be required; complete miscellaneous and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment preparing meat products to feed lines and/or prepare for the next stage of processing.
• Effectively utilize tools, processes, and materials to process and package meat products within planned schedules.
• Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet certain specifications.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
