Job summary

US Foods is seeking a meat processing associate to operate CryoVac and other packing equipment in a refrigerated production environment. You will count, label, and portion meat according to specifications, and maintain a clean, sanitary packing area.

The role requires experience with CryoVac, MultiVacs, dicers, slicers, and portion cutters, plus adherence to GMP standards. High school diploma or GED preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with CryoVac, MultiVac, Dicers, Needle, Slicer, Portion Cutter or similar meat production equipment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and maintaining sanitary conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat processing equipment (CryoVac, MultiVacs, Dicers, Slicer, Portion Cutter) and trim portions.
• Count and stack portions according to customer and company specs.
• Label portions with provided product labels.
• Set up packing and labeling area as required.
• Perform end-of-day functions.
• Maintain and merchandise partial cart.
• Keep packing and cutting areas clean and sanitized.
• Follow GMP to maintain sanitary conditions.
