Job summary

Poarch Creek Indians is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep Perdido River Meats LLC facilities and equipment running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining processing, packaging, refrigeration, and support systems while supporting food safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical/vocational training.
• Three years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; food processing preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on processing, packaging, refrigeration, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain the facility's preventive maintenance program and complete scheduled activities.
• Inspect equipment for potential failures and safety concerns.
