Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent preferred; mechanic training or trade school preferred.
• Experience: Minimum six months of mechanic experience required.
• Knowledge/Skills: Repair/overhaul warehouse & production equipment; welding; read/write; follow orders; basic math; work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production/facility equipment for day and night operations.
• Review equipment reports, log actions/repairs, and maintain repair logs.
• Complete documentation for equipment activities (assembly/disassembly forms).
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) with proper documentation.
• Comply with safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding, safe work environment).
• Maintain and secure battery-charging area, batteries, and related equipment.
• Manage tools, replacement parts, inventory, and tool-area security.
• May purchase tools/equipment from local vendors if authorized.
