US Foods is seeking a Meat Production Associate for its Chicago Stock Yards operation in Aurora, IL. The role involves preparing and packing meat products to meet production demands, while adhering to USDA safety rules and GMP standards. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, with OT as needed.

Candidate must work in a refrigerated environment and freezer sections; high school or GED required. Overtime and physical stamina are essential for successful performance in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F–45°F.
• May require freezer work 10°F to +10°F with company provided apparel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack meat products to meet production demands.
• Utilize tools, processes, and materials to process and package meat within planned schedules.
• Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP.
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
