Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market is hiring for production and operations roles across Southern California. You will maintain sanitation, produce per recipes, manage inventory, and support customer service to ensure quality and freshness throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have sufficient math skills to understand measurements for prepping/cooking.
• Ability to hear, speak and understand spoken word to assist customers and receive pages.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, and understand English in manuals, policies, and postings.
• Familiarity with the duties of each staff position in the department and its procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and sanitize surfaces as needed.
• Check inventory and replenish supplies; rotate products per FIFO rules.
• Produce food per Northgate Markets recipes and production standards.
• Ensure product quality, label and date items, and manage display inventory.
• Work as a team, assist customer service, and communicate with leads.
