Qualifications

• Ability to hear, speak and understand English to respond to customer requests and pages.
• Ability to read, write, analyze and understand English in operating equipment and policy documents.
• Thorough knowledge of various meat cuts and preparation methods and store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and company policies.
• Adhere to health, safety, and weights/measures regulations.
• Package, weigh, price, and restock meat products; maintain product quality and rotation.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products per policy and assist in controlling waste.
• Maintain FIFO by pulling out-of-code items and proper dating.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service; assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling.
• Ensure equipment is safe and report maintenance issues; follow safety procedures.
