Job summary

Conagra Brands is hiring a Machine Operator – Meat Packaging in Macomb, MI to support Duke's Meat Snacks production. You will operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment, perform changeovers, and ensure quality and safety standards on a 1st shift schedule.

You will report to the Packaging Supervisor as part of a ~50-person team. Benefits start day one, and weekly pay is provided. Prior manufacturing experience and mechanical skills help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to meet production goals.
• Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments, and basic maintenance.
• Inspect products to ensure quality, food safety, and standards.
• Complete production, quality, and equipment documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following GMP and sanitation rules.
• Use computer systems to record production information and support daily ops.
• Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
