Conagra Brands in Macomb, MI is seeking a Packaging team member to support Duke's Smoked Meats production. The role reports to the Packaging Supervisor within a team of about 50. Shift is 1st shift: Mon, Wed, Fri 6am-4pm; Tue-Thu 6am-6pm; Saturdays as needed. Location: 23 Mile Rd. and Hayes.

Hourly rate starts at $17.50 with a $0.50 raise after 90 days. Benefits start on day one. Weekly pay. Candidates should lift up to 50 lbs, have a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of data entry and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to support production goals.
• Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments, and basic maintenance activities.
• Inspect products to ensure quality, food safety, and operational standards are met.
• Complete production, quality, and equipment documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following GMP and sanitation requirements.
• Use computer systems to record production information and support daily operations.
• Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
