We are looking for dedicated individuals to perform general product preparation, clean-up, and stock work in the Meat department, while providing excellent customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, bagging, pricing, prefabricating, dating, labeling, scaling, merchandising, selling, serving customers, and other related functions in accordance with company policies.
- Accurately update and maintain department temperature logs.
- Stock and display meat items safely, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Check product quality, ensure proper rotation, and maintain freshness.
- Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
- Maintain carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas.
- Ensure floors are clean, safe, and free of clutter.
- Provide excellent customer and associate relations, communicating effectively.
- Unload trucks, sort orders, and store items in proper cooler locations.
- Wash and sanitize equipment following company and health department policies.
- Greet customers warmly, provide quality foods, and ensure a friendly impression.
- Support store sales and profits through retail operations and marketing programs.
- Maintain professionalism, tact, and courtesy in all interactions.
- Adhere to policies, especially regarding a harassment and discrimination-free environment.
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Handle conflicts reasonably and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications
Minimum
- Willing to work weekends and holidays.

- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
- Safe use of cleaning solutions, sharp tools, and equipment.
