MEAT/MEAT CUTTER (Finance)

• Meat work or similar food preparation experience.
• Dependability and integrity in work history.
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and food handling laws and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing, processing, trimming, tenderizing, sealing, packaging, wrapping, bagging, pricing, pre-fabricating, dating, labeling, scaling, merchandising, selling, serving customers, and other functions per company policies.
• Maintain department temperature logs accurately.
• Stock and display meat items safely, ensuring freshness and proper rotation.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
• Organize carts, tools, and supplies.
• Ensure floors are clean, safe, and clutter-free.
• Provide excellent customer and associate relations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Unload trucks, sort orders, and store in proper locations.
• Sanitize equipment per policies.
• Greet and assist customers cheerfully, providing quality foods.
• Contribute to store sales and profits through retail and marketing efforts.
• Maintain professionalism, adhere to policies, and foster a harassment-free environment.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced, stressful settings.
• Manage conflicts cooperatively and non-confrontationally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
