Responsibilities

• Assist on slaughter days, including skinning, dressing, and splitting the carcass in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Assist with maintenance and sanitary practices on slaughter, processing, and sales floors.
• Process a variety of species and prepare all meats for sale and for custom processing for community members.
• Operate grinders, saws, knives, and vacuum sealer to cut, grind, package, and label meat products.
• Help run the sales counter when available.
• Follow HACCP sanitary practices as set by the plant.
