Job summary

Unload deliveries, maintain cold chain, and help with inventory and merchandising. Ideal candidates have a basic math ability, strong customer service, and are dependable with flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to read, write, and speak in English.
• Experience in grocery perishable department or meat wrapping preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Willingness to work in other areas of the store as needed.
• Must adhere to uniform dress code and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Learn to package authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to company policies.
• Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages according to COOL, USDA and company standards.
• Ensure displays and case signs are updated and meat is merchandised to maximize sales.
• Assist with product ordering and maintain proper date rotation for products.
