Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. in Morristown, NJ is seeking an entry-level Team Member to maintain fresh displays, stock cases, assist with sampling, and support store operations. You will follow safety and sanitation guidelines and work opening, mid, and closing shifts.

No prior retail experience required; reliability and customer service are valued. Wage range is $17.00–$25.40 per hour, with Whole Benefits for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully to teammates, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by checking quality and stocking.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists sampling program and keeps sample areas full and clean.
• Cleans cases, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives on time and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Preps, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safety practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work and shopping environment; keeps equipment clean.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and checks pricing and signs.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Other duties as assigned by store leadership.
