Whole Foods Market in New York is seeking an entry-level Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the meat department. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist with sampling, and ensure a clean, safe shopping and work environment.

No prior retail experience is required, and you will work with a team to deliver courteous, efficient service while adhering to health and safety regulations. Flexibility for varied shifts and teamwork is essential.

• Basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself with various products.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers and team.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations.
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of WFM quality goals.

Responsabilités

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality and stocking cases.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Supports sampling program and keeps areas full and clean.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, and floors.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work/shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
