Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Team Member to support the meat department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help ensure a fresh, appealing display and excellent customer service while following health and safety regulations and store SOPs.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be on time, and collaborate with team members. No prior retail experience is required. Wage range is $16.00–$25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner to customers and team members.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality and stocking.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping areas full and clean.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, and floors.
• Arrives on time and prepared to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
