You will rotate stock, label items, assist customers, and support the department’s goals while upholding Vallarta's food safety standards. This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn meat, seafood, and cremeria product codes.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail meat department.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Collaborative and respectful team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver extraordinary service.
• Fill customer orders accurately, package, weigh, and label.
• Rotate and stock display cases to maintain freshness.
• Ensure pricing, labeling, and signage accuracy.
• Promote sales through suggestive selling and marinated items prep.
• Maintain clean, organized cases, counters, displays.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and weight-labeling laws.
• Monitor case temperatures and report discrepancies.
• Work with coworkers and management as a team.
• Adhere to training and avoid operating equipment without authorization.
• Assist with sanitation and cleanliness of work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
