Vallarta Supermarkets is hiring for a Meat Dispatcher in California. You will fill meat, seafood, and cremeria orders, stock displays, ensure pricing accuracy, and uphold Vallarta’s food safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient customer service.

You will handle merchandising, labeling, and rotation, assist with sanitation, and support coworkers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; occasional lifting and safe operation of equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and a friendly, service-oriented approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail meat department with direct customer interactions.
• Basic English proficiency for communication and safety labeling.

Responsibilities

• Smile, greet, and assist customers with extraordinary service.

• Fill customer orders accurately, package, weigh, and label products with honesty and care.

• Promote sales through suggestive selling and preparation of marinated meats and vegetables.
• Maintain cases, counters, and displays clean, organized, and presentable.
• Ensure compliance with weights, measures, and labeling laws.
• Monitor case temperatures and report discrepancies to management.
• Assist with sanitation and keep work areas clean and safe.
