Responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining temperature logs, pricing and merchandising, budgeting input, and implementing company programs to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Strong communication and team-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep department temperature logs updated and maintain accuracy through training.
• Price and display merchandise, ensure signage, rotation, freshness and space allocation.
• Provide input on department budgets, goals and results.
• Train and develop Meat department employees and ensure proper use of skills.
• Follow company programs and policies, maintaining a harassment-free environment.
• Participate in hiring/firing decisions and performance evaluations for meat staff.
• Promote and implement company initiatives and process improvements with direct reports.
• Manage workloads and supervise staff, offering feedback and coaching.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced, sometimes stressful environments.
• Handle conflicts calmly and constructively, with honesty and integrity.
