You will help schedule, ensure product freshness, and participate in end inventories, with opportunities for development and advancement within a multi-state retailer.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a focus on service.
• Ability to influence others and build rapport quickly.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product.

Responsabilités

• Engage customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach teammates to meet sales goals and Meijer standards.
• Assist in training new team members and cross-training.
• Assist with department scheduling to boost engagement and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness, rotate stock, and follow dating policies.
• Support compliance with food safety standards and safe work practices.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing and product displays when applicable.
• Promote Meijer culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Operate registers and cash handling when needed; operate powered equipment as required.
• Participate in period-end inventories and assist in other departments if needed.
