• Create an inviting environment and assist customers with product questions.
• Inform customers of specials and offer samples.
• Inspect products for quality and freshness and take action.
• Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve results.
• Create and execute sales promotions in partnership with store management.
• Educate staff about promotions and in-store events.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for sales and merchandising supervision.
• Manage the department budget, expenses, and financial reports.
• Schedule price changes and maintain shelf signs.
• Organize inventory processes and CAO training for staff.
• Ensure proper temperature controls in cases and coolers and maintain logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report safety risks or incidents.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
