Tops is seeking a Meat Clerk in New York to provide attentive customer service, weigh, wrap, price and label meat products, and keep work areas clean. You’ll stock shelves, rotate stock, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards while following supervisor directions.

The role requires basic math, reading, writing, and good communication. Strong teamwork and the ability to meet temperature controls across the meat department are essential.

Aufgaben

• Provide Remarkable Customer Service at all times.
• Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product.
• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Meat operations, safety, and sanitation.
• Ensure proper temperatures are maintained in cooler, prep area, freezer, and cases and are in working condition.
• Identify all cuts of meat.
• Maintain adequate meat supplies.
• Maintain proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, straightening, and rotating product.
• Follow direction of Meat Manager and Manager on Duty, inform appropriate people if problems arise.
