Qualifications

• Must be a certified meat cutter.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Provide strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Remarkable Customer Service when attending to customer needs.
• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Meat operations, safety, and sanitation.
• Fulfill weekly product orders while adhering to store policies to maintain adequate supply levels.
• Achieve financial goals such as sales and gross profit maximization, and minimize shrink and supply expense.
• Maintain sanitary work conditions with a 'Clean as you go' policy.
• Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product.
• Follow store procedures and shrink guidelines with respect to conversions, markdowns and discards.
• Oversee selection, training, development and scheduling of Meat associates.
• Complete all necessary paperwork relating to Meat Department (i.e. KLT, SIR380).
• Ensure proper temperatures in cooler, prep area, freezer, and cases and ensure working condition.
• Knowledge of meat and different cuts of meat.
