Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver prompt, courteous service in the meat department at our Los Banos store. Responsibilities include assisting customers, grinding and packaging meat, labeling products, and maintaining sanitation.

You will help with stocking, inventory, and ordering supplies while adhering to safety standards. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The role requires physical work including lifting and standing, with shifts that cover weekends

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting meat products.
• Prepare ground meat using a meat grinder.
• Package and label meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the meat department.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
