Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is hiring a Meat Clerk to join our store location. You will greet customers, help choose meat products, and prepare ground meat using a grinder. You will package, label, and stock items, while maintaining sanitation and freshness throughout the meat department.

This regular, full-time, non-exempt position requires basic math skills, excellent customer service, and strong organizational abilities. Weekend and evening shifts are expected in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training provided.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting meat products.
• Prepare ground meat using a meat grinder.
• Package and label meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department.
• Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
