Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• A valid Food Handler / Health Card.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work well within the team and follow direction with a good attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Basic math and reading skills for handling pricing, labels, equipment, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor and enhancing the customer’s shopping experience (G.O.A.T).
• Assist the customer with purchases of products and services such as slicing, grinding, repackaging, serving suggestions, etc.
• Wrap, weigh, trim, price, and adjust pricing for all meat department products in compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
• Maintain proper supply of products in cases and deli through rotation and display per standards.
• Clean up wrapping, scaling, and production equipment according to sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations and company recipes.
• Grind meat and prepare specialty items like kabobs and marinated cuts.
• Handle meat processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Order products, inventory supplies as assigned.
• Work with team to ensure smooth department operations and customer experience.
