Job summary

You must be able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, lift up to 30 lbs, and comply with safety and sanitation standards. Food Handlers Certification is required by state laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensures meat is wrapped, weighed, and priced properly.
• Operates wrapping machine to prepare meat products for sale.
• Provides customer service and ensures product quality and selection.
• Maintains cleanliness of department and equipment, and ensures sanitation.
• Weights, trays, grinds, wraps, and prices poultry and meat as needed.
• Stocks and rotates product and maintains merchandising in retail cases.
• Follows laws and company policy on weighing, labeling and dating.
• May assist Meat Cutters and Department Manager with other tasks.
