Job summary

WinCo Foods is hiring for a Meat Department team member in Utah. You will wrap, weigh and price poultry and other meats, operate wrapping equipment, and deliver friendly, world-class service to customers. Shifts run 6–8 hours between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm in a 24/7 operation.

You will maintain department cleanliness, assist Meat Cutters, learn basic meat-cutting skills, and follow safety and sanitation procedures per state laws. Prioritize accuracy and efficiency while supporting store goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification required by state law.
• Able to stand long shifts in a refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, and price poultry and meat accurately.
• Operate wrapping machine and other department equipment.
• Provide world-class customer service and assist shoppers.
• Maintain department cleanliness and proper product placement.
• Assist Meat Cutters and Department Manager as needed.
