Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a meat department worker to wrap, weigh, and price poultry and meat while delivering friendly customer service. The role requires operating wrapping equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper merchandising and safety standards within a fast-paced department.

Shifts typically run 9:00 am to 10:00 pm with 6–8 hour blocks; flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays is expected in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws).
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, weigh, and price poultry and meat.
• Provide world class customer service and maintain department cleanliness.
• Operate wrapping machine and assist Meat Cutters as needed.
• Ensure proper merchandising, stocking and eye-appeal of the department.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and labeling policies and file required reports.
