Job summary

WinCo Foods is hiring for a Meat Department team member in an active grocery environment in Washington. You will ensure meat is wrapped, weighed, and priced properly, operate wrapping machinery, and provide world-class customer service while maintaining department cleanliness and product quality.

The role supports the meat department with stock, merchandising, and potential training opportunities; shifts cover times between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm in a 24/7 operation, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws)

Responsibilities

• Seeks opportunities to welcome, engage, serve and thank customers.
• Weighs, trays, grinds, wraps, and prices poultry and meat.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Stand for long periods of time and move rapidly on the sales floor.
• May assist Meat Cutters and Department Manager with other tasks as appropriate.
