Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a Meat Department Team Member in Twin Falls, Idaho to maintain fresh meat production and customer service. You will ensure product quality, proper temperatures, and department cleanliness while assisting customers and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced supermarket setting.

Responsibilities include cutting, grinding, wrapping meat, stocking, and adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines, with shifts 5:00 am–11:00 pm and a 24/7 operation mindset.

Qualifications

• Cutting meat or performing similar work in a meat production environment.
• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including night, weekends and holidays.
• Conduct visual inspections, read production guides and product labels.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacture’s guidelines.
• Properly handle related food products per State and County laws, and WinCo standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers.
• Cuts, grinds, and wraps fresh meat products to standards.
• Maintains proper temperatures and freshness in all stages.
• Ensures merchandising, labeling and inventory in the department.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of workspace.
