Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a Meat Department team member in Norfolk, VA. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, assist with seafood and prepared foods, and help Members with questions and product recommendations.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, stocking cases, and ensuring proper rotation by expiration dates. Weekly pay and robust benefits support your health, finances, and time off.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
