Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading and separating delivered merchandise.
• Transport stock for storage to stock areas.
• Open cartons and price items accurately if needed.
• Keep store shelves stocked according to tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays and meat bunker items.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and remove out-of-code product.
• Control damaged goods according to company policy.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitation of the meat preparation room.
• Present assigned section neatly at end of shift.
• Observe all department policies and procedures.
• Greet customers entering the store and stay observant.
• Maintain neat appearance per company dress code.
• Abide by all employee handbook policies.
• Maintain price and protection program and back room housekeeping.
