Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise and maintain inventory.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Ability to lift up to seventy pounds at least 40% of the time.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading the merchandise.
• Transport stock to storage areas.
• Open cartons and price items accurately.
• Keep shelves stocked per tag allocations.
• Rotate perishables and remove out-of-code products.
• Control level of damaged goods.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitation of meat preparation area.
• Present assigned section neatly before end of shift.
• Greet customers and observe store policies.
• Maintain dress code and appearance.
• Abide by employee handbook policies.
